IT IS NEW BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE BIDDING UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT IT WAS A FULL COMPLETE CLONE OF TICKETMASTER.COM and it is not. ------------------ This might lower some of the bids/time requirements on this project. When we say that we want a clone of ticketmaster.com, we mean that we want it to look like it, and that we want to be able to add events and have them appear such as those on ticketmaster.com appear. There wont be any venue information or any type of connecting to other servers or any type of connecting to other systems, this system will run like this: Product = Ticket Seller or Admin lists product *product will have requirement*,Seller has to be verified by entering a Credit Card number or Bank Account Number.... Admin approves product, Product appears on front page *same format as ticketmaster.com* , User's can search product by city/state/zipcode/venue, and buy product, money goes into admin's paypal or 2checkout account, records go into seller's account and into user's account area. Seller can keep track of listings and # of purchasers minus the fee that admin charges per product. Admin submits a Fedex number to seller's account so seller can track a package from Admin. Admin can also add product. Users are to have full profiles *easy*, users are to be able to select in their accounts if they will have their name listed on the product page as having bought that product. User's preferences for Sellers is documented and User's are made aware whenever a specific seller adds a listing. User can "notify friend" of listing. User's and Sellers can PM eachother. I hope this helps....when we meant clone we didnt mean EVERYTHING as far avenue. Venue WILL be in the product information requirement, and user's WILL be able to search by venue, but there will be no connecting to the venue or adding seating charts.
