I want three different collections of world flags. These can be downloaded from the CIA Factbook website. These flags are in the public domain. All of the flags are .gif graphics and they are all 54 pixels in height. Here is the URL: http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/docs/flagsoftheworld.html ================================= Collection 1: You will download the flags straight from the CIA website and save them in a folder named "54pixels". The size of these images will remain unchaged but the file names will be the complete country name in lowercase letters with spaces converted into dashes. Here are examples: Albania: albania-flag.gif American Samoa: american-samoa-flag.gif United States: united-states-flag.gif There are exceptions and here is how they should be done: Bahamas: bahamas-flag.gif Cocos (Keeling) Islands: cocos-island-flag.gif Congo, Democratic Republic of the: democratic-republic-of-the-congo-flag.gif Congo, Republic of the: republic-of-the-congo-flag.gif Falkland Islands: falkland-islands-flag.gif Gambia: gambia-flag.gif Holy See: vatican-city-flag.gif North Korea: north-korea-flag.gif South Korea: south-korea-flag.gif ===================================== Collection 2: You will reduce the size of the flags so that the HEIGHT is 25 pixels (the width of each image should not be specified - it should be kept in a natural proportion). These will be saved in a folder titled "25pixels". File names will be the same as above. ====================================== Collection 3: You will reduce the size of the flags so that the HEIGHT is 15 pixels (the width of each image should not be specified - it should be kept in a natural proportion). These will be saved in a folder titled "15pixels". File names will be the same as above. ======================================= You will now have three folders, each containing about 260 flag images. All .gif files. These should be placed where I can download them or sent to me by email in a zip file. I am looking for a person who can produce good quality graphics and follow instructions. Before payment is delivered you should post the flags of three different countries on the web where I can examine them. I will look to see that you have sized them properly and that your graphics software has produced good clean and crisp images. To avoid disappointment in the end I suggest that you create the flags of three countries and post them on the web for approval before you invest the time in doing all of them.
