I am looking for a php programmer who would be willing to program peoplepersona.com for me. This site would be similar to a myspace but with some differences. The slogan of the site is are you personafied? The site is split into seven sections: PEOPLE: You can search for people by country, state, name, Age Group(no minors in search), and hobbies. Search would allow you to view user pages. For the user, the people section would allow them to post their bio, journal entries, and any pictures they want to upload, and any links to sites they recommend. There would also be a message center that would work like an internal email. I have a script for the message center ARTICLES / FAQS: People would be able to search for articles or FAQs in a variety of different categories Would allow users to post articles or faqs in a variety of categories or sections, i already have a script to manage faqs. Articles would not need much of a fancy interface, just a place to enter the text for the article for now. RESUMES: People would be able to search for resumes both my areas of expertise and by location. Users would be able to upload their resumes, perhaps the text in a window(copied and pasted) so it could be searched and indexed, and then the actual .doc file, so that it could be downloaded. WORKERS: Imagine this as a simple auction or scriptlance site but for all trades. Basically people would be able to post work they need done, perhaps they need their house painted, or a deck made, even the lawn mowed. Then users could place their bids for what the work would cost, and they could contact each other for agreement. I guess craigs list might be a better example of this, but the idea is that you can find work or workers at no charge. LOVE: A very very simple meet people for romance type section. I dont want a swingers section, i dont want a porn section, and were not trying to be the perfect match maker. Just a place where you can post your profile and what your looking for in a spouse and view other profiles as well. Obviously this section would have to be age verified Mailing Lists People would be able to search for various mailing lists, in a variety of different topics. Users would be able to create, manage, and maintain their mailing lists. CONTACTS: This is where they would add people to their friendlist, and ban or block other ppl. The site is pretty straightforward. I am really looking for a programmer / partner who wold be willing to take this on with me and help with the marketing and launching of the site. Of course i know some monitary compensation would be needed as well. So please bid on how much you would need up front and then what percentage on top of that of what came in. My budget is $300 for this site, and up to 50% of the income generated. As far as the site plan, initially i want to build traffic and only sell advertising as income in order to build as big of a base as possible. We can limit certain services for now(for example you can only have 1 mailing list, or post 5 articles etc), and eventually have paid accounts once we have alot of traffic. So please bid accordingly.
