This is a desktop publishing project for someone who is an expert in MSPublisher. First, you will clean up and refine our existing MSPub layout so you're starting with an optimized template. Next, we will send you content - graphics and text - to plug into the layout and "make it pretty." You will deliver the final document to us, zipped, in .pub format, with all fonts and graphics embedded. You will also create a second version of this document, minus graphics and sidebars, in a black & white version, in .pub format. If you are an MSPublisher expert who pays attention to details and delivers error-free work ON TIME, this will turn into an ongoing monthly project. Project Details: * Refine the design of an existing MSPublisher document. The design is already developed in its basic form, but you will need to tweak the layout, margins, etc. to make it a little cleaner and printer-friendly. This will be your template for future projects. * Plug copy (stories) into this MSPublisher template each month. We will provide .txt files. You'll need to check for widows and orphans, and adjust the number of pages to accommodate the story. You will also need to format the headlines (story titles), and text for sidebars, and plug these into the layout. No editing will be required - we will provide all copy, clearly labeled as to where it should go. * Adjust sizes of graphics (.jpg or .gif) and plug them into this MSPublisher template each month. You should use a photo editor (Fireworks, PhotoShop, or any other tool of your choice) to reduce the graphics to the smallest possible size without excessive loss of quality (we will provide examples). * Develop and modify the color scheme of the document, based on the cover graphic we provide to you. * Once complete, create a black and white .pub version of the document, minus graphics, sidebars, and other objects, but retaining the fonts from the original document. * Add appropriate page numbers to the Table of Contents of both the color and black & white versions. * Deliver both documents, zipped, in .pub format. We expect each finished document to be anywhere from 30-65 finished pages. The size of the MSPub documents can be expanded to fit the amount of copy and graphics each month.
