The first part of the project is graphics - we need a graphic designer that can produce websites that have a current feel to their design. Please bare in mind that you need to be reliable and you need to be AVAILABLE. We are not looking for someone who is only available for a week and then they disappear. --THE PROJECT-- We need a website design (PSD) for the front page and one for the content pages. We will be using SMARTY templating system (just in case this affects what is possible to design) and integrating with the PhpMyDirectory.com script/portal. The design will fit in with the many web 2.0 designs that are popular - this shows you are in tune with the market. Although it is a GRAPHICS project, you still need to be able to demonstrate that you can produce a design with this in mind. If you have provided designs that have later turned into W3C compliant websites afterwards, this will be a bonus! The PSD should be well labeled/organized so that minor changes can be made without constant communication. We need to work with someone that is a good communicator for this project and ONGOING WORK, so poorly typed English will mean your bid won't be received very well* *You don't need to be able to write a novel, but you SHOULD be able to understand our ideas and communicate your own. To be considered you need to give a link to your portfolio and it needs to contain recent projects that show you are capable of doing what we are looking for. LASTLY and most importantly - do NOT post a generic bid telling me about yourself - address points I've raised please. To prove you have read my bid, simply include your hourly rate in the bid. i.e. you will have a bid amount and your bid text will include your hourly rate.
