Okay the following is a specification of what I would like for INS-Overview.com First of this is the official site: http://www.insurgencymod.net/ Insurgency is a modification for Half Life 2. It will be relased in about 3-4 month. It is by fare the most anticipated mod for HL2. The game devs are expecting a working site and forum from me now - in order to secure a good position with them now and in the future. INS-Overview.com will potentially set the standard for other fan sites appearing in this community. So its a good chance. The basic demands I have for this domain - initially - are: 1) A working site - that can be up-graded/up-modded in the near future (perhaps if it need better worked out design) 2) An integrated Forum (doesn't have to be shown as a module - could also be like for www.insurgencymod.net where the Forum is a seperate page). I just want to make sure people only have to sign up in one place in order to have full access to both the Forum and Site). I think you know what I mean :-) 3) An integrated Gallery I will provide you with full access to the backend of my site. At the control panel - phpnuke - Gallery - phpBB etc. can be automatically installed. But these "modules" are not integrated :/ Sites that I find inspiring are: 1) http://www.insurgencymod.net/ (ofcause - lol) 2) http://www.bf2.be/ 3) http://www.gtasanandreas.net/news/index.php 4) http://www.aa-overview.com (my other fan site - for Americas Army) Site name: www.ins-overview.com Title: Insurgency: Overview Slogan: Special News Force Color use: Army Green - Grey - Black - Dark Brown Most sites look too square if phpNuke is used. Site 2) and 3) have some other features that I like. For instance the 5 top news section - and graphics that does not get the sites look that much square and divided in to blocks. That is cool. phpNuke is okay though - I like the functionality of it. Very easy to post news etc. All nescessary graphic files/images and fonts to be used can be forwarded. I am looking very much forward to hear from any of you gud designers/coders.
