request is for the prototype of the product, so if I am satisfied with your work, you will get the contract to build the final version. The Flash front end is a customer contact dashboard can be embedded into a website. Visitors to that website can then use the dashboard to communicate with the website owner. The Flash dashboard will have the following features: 1. Live support chat. Visitors can see if the website owner is online or offline and click to start a "one to one" chat with the owner. 2. Message board. Simple message board with only one category. Visitors can post messages, discuss subjects with the owner and other visitors. 3. Poll. Visitors can vote on a question and see the results. 4. Mailing list. Visitors can sign up for a mailing list. 5. Other contact details. Simple links to website email, etc. The above features are required to be very simple for this prototype. The back end will be PHP and MySQL. The website owner can sign in, design the dashboard (eg. set the poll question & answers etc). Since the dashboard may then be deployed to several websites, the owner should be able to cut and paste the HTML required for embedding the dashboard, and paste it where they want it. The owner (when logged in to the back end) can also monitor the live support application of the dashboard. He will be alerted when a visitor clicks to chat and will have the ability to chat back. Must support multiple users in the database. Each user can login, design their dashboard( eg poll question etc) and generate the HTML required to embed their dashboard into their website. I have seen various Flash scripts out there which implement Flash based chat, message boards, polls etc, so I don't believe this is a massive task. I can point you to the type of app I mean.
