the following is the required feature needed for this project: 1. Remote Web Administration ( client side – features ) a. Store owner can login to the AUI (Administration User Interface) from anywhere in the world and have full access to modify and control the shopping cart properties and products. b. Changes made in the AUI will take place in real-time and will be immediately reflected in the storefront. 2. Open Architecture for template customization with Macromedia Dream weaver software. a. PHP b. Multiple Template Selection included. 3. Catalog Management a. Unlimited products b. Unlimited categories, unlimited sub categories, , etc. c. Product entry – Add/delete/modify products with the following options: 1. Product ID for each product 2. Manufacturer 3. Inventory is adjusted in real-time whenever a purchase is made. 4. Availability – Displays “In stock”, “Out of stock”, or disabled. 5. Shipping weight – in LBS and Kg ( Optional ) 6. Dimensions – Length, Width, and Height. Or any format. 7. Product name 8. Product description – accept HTML tags 9. 3 images per product to be able to show different angles of the product. 10. Dynamic Category/product display – the storefront will automatically be updated when categories/subcategories/products are entered/deleted/modified. 11. Swatches allowed and automatically displayed if available. 12. Price 1. Show regular price 2. Show Premium Member price. Dynamically calculates Premium Member price based on a percentage of the regular price. Premium Member Price should be a link to the Regressive Discount Program. 4. Payment Accepted a. Instant Cart Contents – Displays login id, total quantity of items, total purchase amount. This display box should be present all times. b. View Cart c. Cart Chekout d. Shipping Features (Information should be provided) a. Calculations based on: 1. Per product 2. Per order weight 3. Per order sub-total ( Using a table) 4. Per percentage (%) of order sub-total 5. Free shipping based predetermined on sub-total amount c. “Will Call/ Will Pick up” option – For customers that would rather pick up order at the store and save on shipping. d. Handling charge option – seller has option to enable/disable and set a handling charge. 8. Promotional Features a. Email-a-Friend – This feature should automatically create an “Email a Friend” button for every product created. When this button is pressed, a pop up window will appear asking for the friend's email. The friend will receive an invitation and link to visit the product. b. Email Subscriber List / Newsletter – This option should be available in every page of the website. It should also be an option in the customer's account whether to subscribe or unsubscribe. c. Banner Advertisement Management d. Coupon – Allow buyers to enter coupon and receive immediate discounts. 1. The administrator can add/delete/modify an unlimited number of coupons for any amount. e. Gift Certificate – visitors can purchase certificates for friends and family. These certificates can be redeemed online. The administrator can add/delete/modify an unlimited number of certificates for any amount. The administrator has access to view the name of the certificate holder, their initial amount, and the remaining balance. 9. Online Account Management (B2B/B2C) a. Customer account creation. b. Online Customer Login/Security c. Retain Customer Profiles through login d. Auto Manage Forgotten Password – If customer forgets password, the system will email the password to customer. e. Online Customer Account History in real-time. Customers should have real-time access to the following sections: 1. Account Information -Check/modify their account information such as name, address, phone, email, password, bill to address, credit card on file, subscribe/unsubscribe from mailing list. 2. Order History/Status -View their order history and have access to see the order status, invoices and print them. 3. My Discount Program- View discounts earned per order. Necessary purchase amount to be bumped to the next discount level. View the current discount program chart. 4. Tracking Order – Real-time shipping tracking through their tracking number. 10. Online Order Management (B2B/B2C) a. Real-time order status c. Real-time tax calculation based on state, province, or country. d. Automatic order notification via email sent to customer and seller e. Real-time order creation at back-end f. Capture credit card information online g. Authorize credit cards online h. Allow COD processing i. Delay Capture Section with Full Order Details 1.
