IN SIMPLE TERMS: A registrant invites friends to take a survey about him/her, invite e-mails are sent out, friends take survey, data is collected, reporting of results goes back to registrant. Broken down into detailed areas, it can be described as follows: 1. Account Management A survey subject (person for whom the survey is being completed) establishes an account with verification and and records an e-mail address and password. The system allows the survey subject to associate and record a number of respondents (up to 10) including name and e-mail address to the account. Respondents are e-mailed an invitation to log into the system to complete a survey. The survey subject is e-mailed a confirmation of account set-up and instructions for logging back into the system to complete the survey and collect (future) results. In case the survey subject or respondents lost credentials, the system will send an e-mail message to the respective address on record with credential information. Assumes that e-mail addresses captured do not change. Survey subject may add respondents at any time. New respondents are invited to participate upon addition to system. Survey subject may remove respondents at any time in order to allow system to invite subject to view final report in case a respondent has not completed a survey. Only respondents with incomplete surveys may be removed by subject. 2. Survey Data Collection The survey questions are presented to a number of respondents (up to 10) and are collected for a single survey subject (person for whom the survey is being completed) account. In each case, the respondent can save responses and return in a later session(s) to complete a survey or revise answers as responses collected for each survey subject will be recorded in a database and re-presented upon future logins for each respondent. Upon completion of all respondents’ surveys, an e-mail message is sent to the survey subject alerting him/her that results are vailable for viewing/printing. 3.Survey Processing Survey responses for a survey subject are processed according to a set of rules, and a report is delivered for viewing/printing to the survey subject.
