--------------------------------------- New Item: Frontend/Backend: Rating system for hosts to place banner on their webpage and users click to rate the host. A host rating page would have to be added with all companies and current rating if any. Ability to update banner in the backend to change the graphic if needed. Banner code must include linke to Hot Deal Hosting for site promotion and search engine purposes. Rating page should show host company details and a form to rate host 1-10 star and a comment area similar to the vote system already in place. Host rate page should show all companies alphabetical with join date and rating if any with link for detailed information. Host provider page should include area to add banner and code to their website with statistics. Admin is not needed except to change banner graphic. Backend: http://www.hotdealhosting.com/adminsite/hostfeatured_add.php - Add featured hosting should allow addition of host from administartor not tied to database hosts. - If administrator chooses to add featured host of company in database an company alphabetical list should be available to narrow down company to host: A B C D E F ..... Once you choose a letter a dropdown list of all companies under that letter should appear. If selected by administrator to feature the database should be updated and banner added to featured host list with banner and company details. Example: Banner || Company Name with link that records clickthru: Company Description The page http://www.hotdealhosting.com/adminsite/hostfeatureds.php should contain all active featured hosting companies with information that can be edited. Currently this area shows active and non-active featured hosting. The feautured host should stay the same for hosts adding featured through the payment system (http://www.hotdealhosting.com/hosting/hostfeatureds.php). The featured host needs to have a time limit of 30 days then automatically removed from database. Recommended Web Hosting should contain all companies added through the hosting system (http://www.hotdealhosting.com/hosting/newaccount.php) and only contain the same information as the featured hosting except a category is required by hosts to put in the right category. No plans should be listed there or duplicate entries. No expiration date. Database and php needs to be fixed to meet the above requirements. ---------------------------------------------------------- Fix: Special Offers: Backend: http://www.hotdealhosting.com/adminsite/specialoffer.php Special Offers should only contain same information as featured hosting except the company description should be replaced by special offer text inputted by host (http://www.hotdealhosting.com/adminsite/specialoffer.php) or administrator (http://www.hotdealhosting.com/hosting/hostfeatured_s_offer_add.php) and banner should be 120 X 60. It should expire and be removed in 30 days. Administrator or host should be able to add special offer and edit offer. It should expire and be removed in 30 days. Administrator or host should be able to add text offer and edit offer. Maximum of 15 random companies per category. ------------------------------------------------------ Fix: Email system does not work on 2 article submission items. Needs fix although probably just a code error because most of the email system is fine. -------------------------------------- 3 Days of support after updates to allow testing of components.
