trusted freeware/shareware font download site. I've been feature in multiple publications including Entertainment Weekly and PC World. It has been little more than a money-making hobby and as my "real" job responsibilities (as a children's pastor) have increased, I've been unable to keep up with industry changes. Recognition, advertising revenues and traffic have all been steadily decreasing. Through the years the site has grown and the current archive structure is enormous and hard to navigate - and hard to add to. I'm seeking a behind-the-scenes overhaul of the site. I'd like to (generally) maintain the current look, but want to change the way the pages are generated from a static HTML to a dynamic database driven format. Essentially, here are a few of my must haves: * Ability to incorporate all currently archived fonts into a database. Included fields (font name, designer name, designer website, class description (freeware/shareware) categories (styles), keywords, etc) * Searchability * Ability to generate image previews of fonts directly from truetype files stored on server. Images can be customized depending on user input. Default text is font name, but user can specify any other text string to display. * Ability for user to control "results per page" - whether searching alphabetically, by category or by keyword. I'd still like to be able to present the "Font of the Day" on its own page. I'd like the addition of fonts to be as simple as adding it to the database and uploading the truetype font file. I'd like to mimic some of the features on dafont.com - Highly customizable and makes a large database small. As I am a strict HTML guy with limited knowledge outside of that sphere, I will require good support for at least 30 days after project completion. I've hit on the highlights but I'm sure there are some other minor things that will come up. Flexibility is awesome. I'm looking for someone with experience and a solid portfolio to show me.
