1. i send email advertisement to customers 2. every advertisement has a 'email to friend' link at bottom 3. When they click they give their friends info and send the message. 4. now instead of this, I want them to be able to send the message to their address lists from, yahoo,hotmail,Aol,outlook or wherever they have an email account. Now this things is being done at www.hi5.com, just login, and click on 'who's in'on the left, this 'who's in' feature helps hi5.com users to send message/invites to their adress lists of hotmail,yahoo,aol,outlook etc right from the hi5.com website. Now this is how it should work: 1. Customer clicks on the 'mail a friend' link in my advertisement. 2. On the next screen, their are given fields for their friends email,message etc, and an additional box which asks them: if they want to send the message to their adress book in yahoo,hotmail,aol or outlook... So they click the appropritae choice and send the message. Now how does it work? how does it work at www.hi5.com? When you click on the address book to import the data, it asks for the relevant access detail, like username/password for yahoo, and then communicates to the server and retrieves the address book information, this information is then used by our script to send the message to all 'friends' I hope this is clear, if not, raise a query in the PMB.
