This involves creating separate pages for all the necessary CRUD operations, with the following requirements: • Multi-Company support – The project support hosting multiple companies, which are completely separated from each other, although they all are in the same database. • Role-based multi-user support – Users have a many-to-many relationship with companies. In other words, a user can manage several companies whilst a company can be managed by several users. Roles need to be granted separately amongst users and companies. • Multi-Language support – From the ground up, the system is designed to be multi-language, and every field to be shown on screen supports any language, so the administration module has to support this, and it -in fact- has to be multi-language as well. Companies must be able to choose which languages they want to support. • Image Handling – Operation that involves image uploading should also take care of the necessary resizing/thumbnail generation, leveraging the user from those tasks. • Data Importing/Exporting • Batch support – Ability to work with several rows at once. For instance searching for a subset of records, then refining the search to narrow the results, then selecting some of those results by checking the checkbox next to each row, and then raising all prices by 5% on the checked items.
