Our latest project requires that 4 websites be run from one database. Our goals are to reduce the number of gateways that we have to pay for and the number of merchant accounts we need to get and to use technology to economize the expense of maintaining multiple websites. For example, allkindsofsoap.com has all the soap in the world. It is the master catalog on a sql server. handsoap.com and facesoap.com are owned by allkindsofsoap.com but are different websites with different people staffing them and different feels and styles. How is it possible that handsoap.com, facesoap.com and footsoap.com share a common catalog, common ssl, and gateway, make the customer feel all safe and secure and with out pulling any monkey business? Or would it be better just to keep them all seperate? This is a consulting job. We need guidance for the development of a one catlaog system, servicing multiple websites with unified helpdesk. We would like to pay someone for ongoing assistance. Please bid your amount but tell us how many hours that would include.
