I have a MSSQL 2000 data table 'PROJECTS' where the fields are: Projectid | ProjectName | Description | Date_creation | Date_expiry | status. The default value of the 'status' field = 'Open'. From the said 'PROJECT' table I would like to show an ASP page where all the above fileds would be displayed. You have to consider that the projects which expired should not appear on the page i.e., if date_exipry>today then update field status as 'frozen'. Which means the the page will display only open projects. This is very much similer to the scriptlance.com home page where a user opens the site, he gets a page with updated details only. Actually what happens when a user logs http://www.scriptlance.com, the main page's program 1st updates the status of projects by changing he value of "STATUS" field from Open to Frozen.
