Everybody can see the the 'public view' but to see the private views a user must be logged in. I have a 'group' of users that I need to all see the private & public categories and a group of users who should only be able to see the public categories. I need the users that need access to the 'private categories' to 'share' an account and be automatically logged in somehow..ie not have to log in each time and not have to create an account for each different user, this plus several other small changes to the script. This will be in an intranet environment so the security doesn't have to be bulletproof. Proposed Solution: A get query string that automatically logs in the required user displaying the required categories thay are allowed to see. The modifications are: 1. Create a get query string that will automatically login a particular user. 2. Remove the "save view filter" feature and just allow the button to refresh the display with the required 'view'. 3. Ensure that the logged in user group can add events but they must be approved by the administrator group before being shown (this function is built in, but it sometimes doesn't work) 4. Slow down the display times of popup screens ie when a use is added a popup screen is displayed say ing it was successful/unsuccessful, but it is to fast - can't read it. 5. Up to 5 different minor edits as the required changes are made (ie one change might lead to another smaller one) This project should be able to be accomplished by an asp guru in no time.
